The Middle Path

” Life is all about taking that middle path “

How many times have we all been told this? During our growing up years weren’t we all preached this sermon  infinite number of times !!
So much so  that it got imbibed in our psych !!
And ultimately we couldn’t differentiate whether we were conditioned to believe it as the ultimate truth or was it our own thinking ? That line just got blurred without our even  realizing it . Hence , we moved ahead in this journey of life with this frame of mind.

I am sure many of you out there  can very well relate to this .

Somewhere in this journey ….

In between a cute kindergarten kid and the rowdie one..

In between the studious teenager and the rebellious one..

In between the class topper to wanting to be a part of the back benchers association..

In between going for a secure career and following one’s passion..

In between looking for stability in marriage to passion in the relationship..

In between being an extrovert and reserved ..

In between being traditional and a fashionista..

Somewhere along the way while looking for that illusive middle path , we seem to have lost our own individuality .

In this journey of ours from innocence to maturity , from baby skin to wrinkles , haven’t we all somehow became the “Lost Souls ..”
All confined within those walls built by our own selves ..

Why don’t we stop , take a long pause and  give it a thought ..
And it will for sure make us realize this ..

*May be its time to leave  that *Middle path.. 
*May be its time  to break those walls..
*May be its time to step out of that conditioned mindset..
*May be its time to become a free spirit ..
*May be…

Isn’t it high time ??

I strongly believe each one of us is strong enough to do that. 
We don’t do it , just because humans by nature are escapists !!!! Afterall weren’t we always  taught to take that middle path….!!!!

Let’s get out of that conditioned mindset ,
Let’s take those so called Risks , let’s walk on that forbidden path,
Let’s just be Us….

Here’s to an empowered Us..
Here’s to a stronger Us ..
Here’s to a spirited Us…
Here’s to Us stronger,  spirited souls ..

And I pray ..
May we know these souls..
May we be those souls..
May we raise those souls ..
